WELCOME to LA TRAME!

We are a non-profit organisation based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
We are a meeting place around textiles ♥.

At LA TRAME you can find second-hand clothing, take sewing and/or textile repair classes, donate your clothes to be altered or even have small textile textile production made.

Clothes are part of everyone's life, they are necessary and important to us. At LA TRAME, we want to question our relationship with clothing, an object that connects us all.

Our craft is sewing, and we are fascinated by textiles ♥.

We want to use our diverse practices to forge links, share, enhance each other's skills and encourage intercultural and intergenerational exchanges. We work with a number of local  integration support institutions through shared textile practices.

We want to (re)give textiles their rightful place, and extend the life of our wardrobes and existing textiles.

On our own scale, let's fight together ♥ against fast-fashion and programmed obsolescence by developing local, creative and sustainable alternatives.
